Several top names in the film industry have descended on Douglas for the start of the Isle of Man Film Festival.
The event, taking place between 14 and 16 September, is being held at the Broadway cinema in the town.
It aims to give island-based film-makers the chance to have their work screened alongside productions from established film-makers.
Isle of Man film-maker Nathan Russell-Raby said the festival provided a "brilliant networking opportunity".
He added: "Just being able to see your work up there on a cinema screen is great, after putting a lot of work into something it's nice when you eventually get an audience."
Witchcraft filmFilm festival events include a variety of screenings, question-and-answer sessions, acting workshops and screen writing lessons.
Visiting artists include Gruffalo producer, Martin Pope, actor and director Lee Boardman and screenwriter Lucinda Coxon.
"We will also get the chance to show a trailer for our Manx film, Solace in Wicca which we finished filming at the end of July," added Mr Russell-Raby.
